Thanks for checking out my site and reading more about me and Peace Blends!
I have worked as a chef in Northeast Ohio & Northwest Pennsylvania for the past 16 years. During that time I discovered my true passion is manipulating seasonings to create the ultimate balanced flavor. Simple dishes can be turned into a culinary experience by incorporating the perfect blend of herbs and spices. To me, there is no greater gift in life than the ability to provide my loved ones with nutritious and flavorful meals. Over the years I created my signature toasted curry blend, which was the inspiration behind Peace Blends LLC.
All of my spices are hand crafted and hand bottled (by myself and my incredibly supportive husband <3 ) in a commercial kitchen at Laurel Kitchen Incubator in Sharon PA.
In addition to working a full time job and operating a small business, I also teach cooking classes at Thyme in your Kitchen in downtown Sharon. In my free time, I love to travel around with my husband and our 2 pups in our DIY camper school bus. We are avid kayakers (and therefore I am the official river chef). We've been known to frequent a music festival or two, and I've been known to feed any hungry person I can find. Pro tip: always keep a spare sandwich (or 10) in your pocket. You'll always find someone who needs it! Because we've become pretty well known for our festy meals, I was given the opportunity to be a cooking demo instructor at Ohio Mushroom Festival.
